Get Ready to get Scrambled by the Winds of Spin!
Uh oh! Those crazy storm winds are rolling in! Ever wondered what it feels like to swirled around in the center of a cyclone? Well, spin fiends, today you just might find out. First the Cyclone will spin you round and round, and then it’ll put a spin on the spin!
This classic scrambler is designed to whirl and gyrate you into a dizzy-making frenzy. Take a look around as you pile into one of the sleek silver two-person cars clustered around the center. The world still looks normal, right? But once we give the whole contraption a twist, your vision will start to scramble! You’re circling around the middle while the other riders circle around you — you’ll get wobbly just thinking about it. Just hang on tight, like you would do if a cyclone blew into town!
The world rushes at you from all directions, zooming forward while you contort around the center in a whirlwind of heavy duty swerves. The faster the spin, the harder you’ll be pressed to the sides of the car. So in other words, prepare to be smooshed! You’ll feel like you’re whipping around in the center of the storm — mixed up, swirled around, and scrambled by the Cyclone. Just don’t expect to be able to walk in a straight line for a little while.
A few weeks ago a hole was found next to the entrance of Cyclone and a zombie burial ground was found.
It is said that, every now and then, something scrambles out of this hole and visits us. Huge, slimy tails whip through the night. Sharp points of red-forked fangs flash in the shadows. And, heaven help you, once it clamps onto your leg or creep inside your jacket.
The creature was recently seen by one of our park watchmen, who described it as, “an octopus, a dragon and a human caricature…a pulpy, tentacled head surmounted a grotesque scaly body with rudimentary wings” before he burst into tears and began talking in gibberish (he said something like “Ph’nglui mglw’nafh Cthulhu R’lyeh wgah’nagl fhtagn” right before he dropped dead. We have no idea what it means).
Over the last couple of weeks Six Flags America has spent a significant amount of money to try to seal the hole. But the ability of this creature to dig his (or her) way out is staggering.
Guests riding Cyclone are encouraged to keep a weather eye on the track ahead. Anyone who sees something up ahead with a gigantic, unkempt mouth with dozens of sharp pointy teeth should……pray for it to end quickly…
Height requirement: Min. 36″, under 48″ must ride with guest 54″
